Robert "Luckie" Weaver Jr. died suddenly at age 80 at his home in Des Moines, WA. He graduated from Mainland High School in 1951 and the University of Florida in 1955. He entered the U.S.A.F. and retired after 20 years as a Lt. Col. He next joined Boeing in Seattle as a test conductor for the AWACS aircraft and spent several years in Saudi Arabia, England, France and Germany. He retired from Boeing after more than 20 years and he and his wife live in the Seattle area. He is survived by his wife, Alda Hancock Weaver; and was pre-deceased by his brother, Glenn Alden Weaver and parents Nellie and "Babe" Weaver of Daytona Beach.
