SMSgt Roger Alan Anderson, Nov 21, 1939 - Mar 6, 2014Passed away on March 6 due to complications from a short term illness. Survivedby wife, Jeanette; 4 children, Chris (Laurie), and Kevin of Sacramento, CA,Mark, and Tara (Mitch) Compton of Omaha; 4 grandchildren, Christopher andLindsey Anderson, and (twins) Anderson and Everett Compton; sister-in-law, MaryAnderson; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Preceded in death byhis parents, Earl and Catharine (Blain) Anderson; brothers, Donald, William,and (identical twin) Robert; and nephews, Alan and Craig Anderson.

FUNERAL SERVICE Friday, March 14, at 11am at St.Stephen the Martyr Church, 16701 S Street, Omaha. VISITATION on Thursday 5-7pm,followed by PRAYER SERVICE at 7pm, all at Braman Mortuary, Southwest Chapel. Intermentin Mt. Auburn Cemetery, with Military Honors by Offutt Honor Guard. Roger and his twin brother Robert were highly respected air surveillance operators in the Connies at McClellan. I know Roger was with us in the beginning days of AWACS at Tinker; I cannot remember if Bob was too. Not to put him on the spot, but CMSgt Ed Gamble knew them both much better than I did.
