A man of dignity, wisdom and wit. Passed on August 7, in his home surrounded by family. Born on Sept. 27, 1926 in Sequim, WA. Moved to Hamilton St. in 1955 where he joyously lived out his days with lifelong neighbors. Joined the Army in 1945, retiring from the US Air Force in 1977, as Chief Master Sgt. Proudly served in WWII, Korea and Viet Nam. Became a rancher when he purchased the almond orchard in 1964. Eventually left the workforce and devoted his time to his grandchildren and his precious roses. Preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Nora Miller. Leaves behind his adoring wife of 64 years, Reva, children Marla (John), Mark (Kathleen) and Michael (Joni), grandchildren Charlie, Christine and Kate. "Pops, may you continue the search for a wine your kids will not drink." A celebration of life will be held at the Hamilton St. house on the eve of his 89th birthday, Sept. 26th, at 5:00 p.m.
