Forrest Wright passed away peacefully on December 5th 2015 in Seattle, Washington at the age of 85. He was born Feb. 12, 1930 in Baron, OK. He enjoyed working with children at Shriners Hospital for Children, and was active with the Presbyterian Church on the Navaho Reservation located in Kayenta, AZ. He was also active locally with Maple Valley Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed traveling with his wife of 61 years, especially to the family farm. He was a proud member of the Oklahoma Cherokee Nation. Forrest was a veteran of both the Navy and the Air Force, where he worked as a radar technician for 31 yrs. He went on to become project manager at Boeing working on both the AWAC's and Air Force One programs. He is survived by sons, Mark Wright and his wife, Brenda of Issaquah, Michael Wright and his wife, Julie of Buckley; and daughter, Margaret Ann Wright of Enumclaw. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and 7 nieces. Preceded in death by his wife, Joyce; and 5 brothers, Herbert, Kenneth, Billy, Radean, and Harold Wright. There will be an interment at Tahoma National Cemetery on Monday, December 14, 2015 at 12:30 p.m. with a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. at the Maple Valley Presbyterian Church.
