E-3 AWACS Belt Buckle

Post by EX964IFE » Sat Aug 11, 2007 8:00 am

:D Great show of solidarity on the X000 Hours Lapel/Hat Pins. Has anyone thought about reproducing the belt buckles of the same larger design (without the X000 hours overlay)? I received a lot of favorable comments from the younger generation while at the 30th Opening Ceremonies. (It's hard to believe that buckle is nearing 30 years old). Feedback?

That's definitely an idea. I just got the Flying Hour Pins in yesterday and will be shipping them out to those who sent in advanced sales.

I am expecting to be contacted by a Chief from the 964th very soon re: giving Flying Hour Pins to the young troops.

If you can get me a picture of the Buckle I can check around and see what it would cost us.

:( No Joy on the belt buckle. The Norman, OK dealers are out of business and the Oregon dealer is not responding. Guess we may have to consider a local manufacturer. We might need to check for a copyright or trademark. Sorry, Bill. Bingoed out---RTB

No problem. The internet has tons of site where custom belt buckles can be ordered. As the money rolls back in to the AEWA account I'll get some prices and post the details to the list.
