general activity here in the forum

Dear Crewdogs,
Hi Folks,

I'm a little bit concerned about the low activity in this forum.
Would be great to "motivate" you to create more postings :-))

Cheers

Detlef

I agree - it would be nice to see more postings. I've mentioned this before and most said "wait and they will come" but not that many have participated. We have 282 user currently registered but most have never posted.

I am open to any suggestions...

Hi there!

I am one of the many who are registered but never have posted anything...guilty as charged.

To be honest, over the years I have totally forgotten about this site/forum and just recently stumbled over it, again.
I, for my part, will contact my former crew members over at Geilenkirchen and start making aewa.org more known to them.
At the end of march, a few "Oldtimers" of Sq.1 will meet at a German Forces Depot to celebrate the 11th anniversary of
us having flown as "Bravo Crew" in the war against Serbia in 1999.

The key to getting this forum more widely known is to actively address currend and former members of the AEW community
and give them a "push in the right direction" to make them come over here and participate! (|:-)

As I am rather active in other forums, mostly flightsimulation related, I would ask a buddy of mine to try and come up with a
banner to add to my signature, promoting aewa.org.

Once that is done, I would post it here for otheres to use it, how is that?

Hi there!

To see if we could generate more interest in this great site, I started a Groub at Facebook.com called AEWA.
I put a link to the site/forum in there and am encouraging everybody to come here, register and start bringing life to http://www.aewa.org.

I hope that's OK with you, Bill. PDT_Armataz_01_04

Hi All,

I was so very happy to find this board! :D I'm Reed Vander Schel, US Flight Engineer in Squadron 1 from 1991 to 1997!

So many hours flying in circles with so many wonderful individuals! Bernd! What a pleasure to see you here and to hear that you have done so well in the industry. I retired at Geilenkirchen, went into coporate jet management and eventually retired from that too! Now I once again, work for the Department of Defense managing weapons systems contracts.

To those of you still flying the skies, Godspeed, may the weather always be sunny and the landings always soft!

Very truly yours,
Reed
