Tracy W. Millar, 72, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2018, in his home, surrounded by loved ones.

He was born June 9, 1945 in New London, CT, a son of the late Rev. William and Kathryn Millar. He was predeceased by a grandson, Alex.

Upon graduation from Alderson-Broaddus College in West Virginia he joined the United States Air Force. He was a pilot with them for twenty years. He then went on to fly for Trans World Airlines. Tracy and his wife, Jeanne, retired and moved south to enjoy the sunshine and salty water. Tracy was a very active member of King of Glory Lutheran church. He had a great big heart, a generous spirit, and a love for life.

Survivors include his loving and devoted wife, Jeanne Millar of North Myrtle Beach; two daughters, Amanda Stewart and Kirsten Weekly, both of Spokane, WA; two brothers, John Millar (Joyce) of Tiffin, OH, and Francis Millar (Mary) of Atlanta, GA; three grandchildren, Vincent, Hayden, and Sydney; two great grandchildren, Kinley and Kaden; and his “little brother,” Andre Tongue of Oklahoma City, OK.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 7, 2018, at King of Glory Lutheran Church in North Myrtle Beach.

An internment will be held at Arlington National Cemetery with full military honors at a later date.

Contributions in Tracy’s memory may be made to King of Glory Lutheran Church and/or Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Just a reminder:
Tracy is scheduled to be buried with full military honors on Wednesday, 20 March at 1500.
This date will mark the one year anniversary of his death.
If you plan to attend, please arrive at the Arlington Admin building NLT 1430.
This service will be graveside only. There will be no chapel service since he had a Memorial here at home.
There will be a reception immediately following the service at the Ft Meyer Club (Patton Hall).

Hope to see some of you there.
Jeanne Millar
